Richard Charles Carickhoff–9/14/2023

Richard Charles Carickhoff, age 81, of Sarasota, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 14, 2023. He was surrounded by friends and family.

Born February 23, 1942, he was the son of the late John and Eleanor (nee Cunningham) Carickhoff.

Rich married the love of his life, Trish on September 14, 1991, and they enjoyed a beautiful marriage of 32 years. He was the loving father of Richard (Amy), Brian (Mondi), Lynne, Amy and Timothy (Adriane) and 2 stepchildren, Jaime, and Ryan (Mary Clay). He was a loving Pop Pop to 14 grandchildren. Brother of John (Francoise), Robert (Bernadine) and predeceased by David (Joan). He also leaves behind many beloved nephews and nieces.

He was a graduate of North Catholic High School (1959). He received his BS and MS in electrical engineering from Penn State University. His most recent employment was with Kulicke & Soffa where he consulted until right before his death.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Rich’s Funeral Mass on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at 11:00 AM at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale, PA 19446, where his family will receive friends from 9:00 to 11:00 AM in Church prior to Mass. Interment will be private at Holy Sepulchre Cemetary, Cheltenham, PA.
