William E. Marsden, Jr., age 69, of Lansdale, formerly of Chalfont, died Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the Valley Stream Apartments.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late William Marsden, Sr. and Josephine (nee. Delconte) Marsden. He was a graduate of Lansdale Catholic High School, Pierce Junior College and Delaware Valley College.

Mr. Marsden was the owner and operator of Vac and Sew in Montgomeryville for over 20 years retiring in 2010.  He served his country honorably as a Medic in Germany with the United States Army from 1967 to 1971 during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW.

Surviving are his sisters Mary Ann Ferraro (the late Thomas) of Lansdale and Cynthia Ann Koenig (Gary) of Carlisle, PA, many nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews and one Great Great nephew.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, Pa. 19446, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM in Church before Mass. Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery in Chalfont.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Alliance Cancer Center, 700 Horizon Circle, Suite 106, Chalfont, PA. 18914.  Arrangements are by Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home in Lansdale.
