Miriam C. Burns, a longtime resident of Lansdale, died Saturday, May 27, 2017. She was born in Philadelphia on April 4, 1919.  Miss. Burns was employed as a Private Secretary for Rohm and Haas in Philadelphia. In her later years she greatly enjoyed spending time at the PEAK center in Lansdale and Square Dancing.  Miriam Burns, devoted member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and was a member of the Senior Club. Miss. Burns is survived by her loving dear friends Jane and Ken Mohr of Lansdale and Betty Gilbert of Lansdale, as well as many cousins and nieces.  She was preceded in death by her brother James Burns.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass at 10 AM on Friday, June 2, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, where friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 AM.  Interment on Saturday, at New Cathedral Cemetery in Philadelphia. Arrangements are by Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, Lansdale.
