Kathryn A. “Kathy” (nee Herman) DiNicola–5/4/2024

Kathryn A. “Kathy” (nee Herman) DiNicola, age 74, a lifelong resident of Lansdale, PA, died peacefully at home on Saturday morning, May 4, 2024.  

Born on July 7, 1949, in Lansdale, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rita (nee Eichhorn) Herman. 

She graduated from Lansdale Catholic High School in 1967. 

On November 13, 1982, she married her loving husband William A. DiNicola “Dee” in Norristown, PA. 

For the love of her kids, throughout the 1990s, she worked at St. Stanislaus Catholic School, and then later Lansdale Catholic High School, until her retirement in 2018. Kathryn was proud to have served as vice-president of the St. Stanislaus School Board.

She was a lifelong Parishioner of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church where she served as a Eucharistic Minister. 

Kathryn was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two loving daughters, Rita McNutt and her husband Thomas of East Rockhill, PA, and Maria DiNicola Rossi of Perkasie, PA, two sisters, Barbara Landes and her husband Neil, and Janet Herman and her partner Ron DiCola, five grandchildren, Katelyn and her husband Hasan (who are expecting Kathryn’s first great-grandchild), Andrew, Mira, Paulie, and Brielle as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Rosemarie Hartz (survived by her husband Michael).

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Kathryn’s Mass of Christian Burial on Friday morning, May 10, 2024, at 10:30 AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA, 19446, where her family will receive friends in Church beginning at 9:00 AM, prior to Mass.

    We were shocked hearing about the death of Kathy. She was such a wonderful, Kind, & beautiful person.

  2. Rest in peace Kathy, you were my second grandmom growing up and watching me everyday until my mom came home. I really did grow up with you always there. My condolences to Dee, Rita, Maria, Andrew, and the rest of the Herman/DiNicola family.
