Vincent C. Habick Jr.–11/12/2023

Vincent C. Habick Jr., 70, of Lansdale, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023. He was born on August 9, 1953 in Warren, Ohio, to Vincent Habick and Mary (Barrett) Habick. Vince was a graduate of North Penn High School and Kutztown University. 

After graduating from the University, Vince worked for Gralla Publications as a Publishing Editor and resided in Manhattan NY. When the company was acquired by Miller Freeman Inc., Vince relocated to San Francisco, Cal., as a Group Production Manager. He was relocated once more to Brooklyn, N.Y., before retiring and moving to Lansdale in 2006.

Family was extremely important to Vince. He opened his home to the family and friends for all occasions. He was known for his joy of the holidays and his decorations. Vince was a kind soul and often offered his assistance to neighbors and friends. Due to his love for wildlife, his yard was often a place to see deer, ducks and birds. 

Vince was predeceased by two very loved life partners, Bob Racquel and Steven Gunn. 

He is survived by his siblings John Habick (Becky), Don Habick (Cindy), Theresa Carroll (Pete), Mary Lynn Albright, and Bob Habick, and his many nephews and nieces.

Relatives and friends may call between 9:00 am and 11:00 am on Saturday, November 18, 2023 at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale PA followed by the Funeral Mass at 11:00 am.

Interment will be at St John Neumann Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to either Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E Ridge Pike PO Box 222, Conshohocken PA 19428-0222 or St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis TN 38105.

    You were such a great guy! We will always remember the fun times we had with you at summer pool parties at Don and Cindy’s!

  2. Vince, you will be truly missed by your family, friends and neighbors. Your past kindnesses, and generosity, especially for your elderly neighbors will always be remembered, and forever appreciated. Thank you, and may god bless you, and keep you Vince.
