Margaret (Meg) Reed—3/23/2021

Margaret (Meg) E. Reed, 58, of North Wales, Pa., died peacefully at home on March 23, 2021.

She was born on December 18, 1962, in Pottstown, Pa., to parents, Edwin B. Reed and Mary E. Reed. She had two brothers, Michael E. Reed and Craig S. Reed (Susan), and one sister, Lisbeth (Libby) A. Reed (Morrison).

She was predeceased by her father Edwin B. Reed (October 31, 1993). She is survived by her mother, Mary E. Reed, and siblings.

She was the proud aunt of Lauryn Dunn (Adam), Samantha Morrison (Eric Detwiler), Timothy John Morrison (Valarie), Jordan Reed and Hayley Reed. She was the adoring grandaunt of Jack Dunn, Shaylee Dunn, Darcy Detwiler, Timothy Scott Morrison and Kellyanne Morrison. She enjoyed the lifelong friendship of Lori Iles, Mark Riccio, Sara Beth Wisnewski, Diane and Karen Curtis, Suzie Paulukonis and Glenn Fox.

Meg was a graduate of North Penn High School Class of 1984. She was a Pennsylvania State Special Olympic Champion in Bowling. She also competed in swimming, winning several medals and acknowledgements.

She worked at Clemens Markets, Giant Markets, and North Penn Training Center.

Meg was an avid sports fan of the Philadelphia Phillies, the Eagles, and Penn State football.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated March 31, 2021, at 11 am at Mary Mother Redeemer (MMR) Catholic Church, 1325 Upper State Rd., North Wales, Pa. Visitation will precede the Mass beginning at 10 am. There will be no graveside services.
