Helen Klos (1933-2019)

Helen (Kish) Klos passed away on Sunday, November 17, 2019.

Helen was born in Wilkes-Barre Township, PA on May 14, 1933 and graduated from Wilkes-Barre Township High School in 1951. Upon marrying Eugene Klos (1923-2009) in 1963, Helen moved to North Wales, where she has spent the last 56 years.

In 1969 Helen and Eugene were among the founding families of Presentation of Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church in Towamencin Twp, and faithfully attended church there for over 50 years.

Helen worked for Acme Markets from 1951-1968 before becoming a homemaker.

Helen thoroughly enjoyed her morning crossword puzzles, making pierogis for, and singing in her Church, helping out with Bingo and listening to the Phillies on radio or television.

She is survived by daughters Margaret and Mary (Mark) and her son Andrew (Amy), along with her three grandchildren Grace, Caroline, and Robert.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Viewings, on Monday Evening, November 25, 2019 from 6 to 8 PM, at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main St, Lansdale, PA 19446 and again Tuesday morning November 26, 2019 from 9 to 9:45, at Presentation of Our Lord Ukrainian Catholic Church, 1564 Allentown Rd, Lansdale, PA 19446, followed by Service at 10 AM.  Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
