Annette Kathleen Miola—9/21/2017

On September 21, 2017, Annette Kathleen Miola passed to joyful reunion with her beloved husband Anthony and her son Steven. She was born in Brooklyn, New York, on June 3, 1927 to Dominic and Francesca Cappadona, and was the youngest of 7 children. She was 90 years old.

Annette Miola worked in banks in New York as a bookkeeper, and married her true love Tony after the war on June 12 1948. They and their two sons (born 1951), Steven (+2015) and Robert, lived in Bellmore, New York. Annette Miola endured life’s sufferings and sorrows with grace and resiliency. She loved champagne, holidays, and celebrations of every kind, especially those involving her beloved sons, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She also loved dancing, art, and poetry, and blessed many family occasions with her creative signs and thoughtful gifts In later years she resided in Lansdale Pennsylvania, attended Corpus Christi Church, and enjoyed the caring friendship of neighbors Pat and Ralph across the street, along with the loving attention of daughter-in-law Paula, and grandson Tony. At the end she moved to Baltimore to enjoy her last months with her son Robert and daughter-in-law Beth.

Annette Miola leaves behind many joyful memories and the rich legacy of a clean, ordered life lived entirely in faith, hope, and love. May she rest in peace and enjoy eternal life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass, which will be presided over by Fr. Alberto Barattero, IVE., on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 10:30 AM at Corpus Christi Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Lansdale, PA 19446, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM in the Church Narthex, before Mass. Interment will be in St. John Neumann Cemetery.

Donations in Annette’s memory may be given to the Institute Servants of the Lord, Provincial House, 28 15th St. SE/ Washington, DC 20003.
