Eugene J. Dehner—4/8/2017

Eugene J. Dehner, age 88, of Lansdale died Saturday, April 8, 2017. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Edward and Beatrice (nee, Sloan) Dehner. Mr. Dehner was a longtime employee of Merck & Co., working as a Pharmacist and retiring in 1992.  He was a devoted member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, where he volunteered his time for many church activities, most recently singing with the Funeral Choir. Mr. Dehner served his country honorably with the United States Navy. One of his greatest joys in life was singing with the North Pennsman Barbershop Chorus.  He is survived by his wife Evelyn Dehner , daughters Lyn Cavallaro (John) of Lansdale, and Anne Marie Yusko (Daniel) of Sanatoga, sons John Dehner (Peg) of Harleysville and Daniel Dehner of Media, brothers, Edward A. Dehner (Anne),

William Joseph (Madeline), sisters Beatrice McFadden (Jim), Jane Muesee and Dorothy McNamara as well as 4 Granchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.  In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one sister, Loretta Burns and one grandchild.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA. 19446 at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 22, 2017, where friends may call from 10 to 11 AM before Mass.  Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Gene’s name may be made to the The North Pennsman Barbershop Chorus, P.O. Box 1401, Lansdale, PA. 19446.
