Michael J. Mittnacht, Jr.—11/30/13

Michael J. Mittnacht, Jr., age 70, of Lansdale died Saturday, November 30, 2013.  He is survived by his beloved wife Claire M. (Quinto) Mittnacht.

Born in Washington, D.C. he was the son of the late Michael J. and Josephine (Ferguson) Mittnacht, Sr. and had formerly lived in Bath, PA. and Absecon, NJ.  He was a graduate of Pleasantville High School and West Virginia Wesleyan College.

Mr. Mittnacht served his country honorably with the United States Army during the Vietnam War, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel.  He worked in sales with High Reach Rentals which later became United Rentals.

In addition to his wife he is survived by his daughters Michele Wereley and Mary Elizabeth Odom, both of Colorado and his son Michael Mittnacht of Coral Springs, FL., his stepdaughter Claudine Homolash of Philadelphia, stepsons Thomas Homolash of Lansdale and Richard Homolash and his wife Taryn of Philadelphia,  as well as 5 grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11:30 AM at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main St., Lansdale, PA. 19446, where the family will receive friends from 10:30 to 11:30 AM, before the Service.  Interment Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. Arrangements are by Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, Lansdale.
