Jeannette A. Houle, age 101, of Brittany Pointe Estates died on December 2, 2015 at Brittany Point.

Born in Holyoke, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Sebastian and Zelpha Bellefeuile Yenlin.

She had worked as a Dental Assistant in New York City and Massachusetts.

Mrs. Houle had lived in the East Oak Lane section of Philadelphia before moving to Brittany Pointe.

During her years in Philadelphia, she was a very active volunteer at Germantown Hospital for 35 years, participated in “The Gold Cup” which was benefit for Germantown Hospital and was a member of the Women’s Board at Germantown Hospital.

She also was an avid tennis player while living in Holyoke.

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lansdale.

Her husband, Laurent B. Houle, MD, died in 1987.

Surviving are two sons Robert E. Houle, MD and his wife Karen of Oley and James P. Houle, MD and his wife Connie Hyde of Cedarcrest, New Mexico, 4 grandchildren John, Ellen, Tess and Leah and many nieces and nephews and her daughter in law Kristin Houle of New Mexico.

She was preceded in death by her son Michael Houle and 3 sisters and one brother .
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Staff at Willow Brook Court and the ACTS Hospice and ACTS Home Health Care and Doctors Homa and Jairaj for their loving care and compassion.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, December 19th at 11AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA. 19446 where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. There will be an additional Memorial Service at Brittany Pointe on Saturday, December 19th at 3PM. Arrangements are with the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, Lansdale.
