Mary J. Collins—6/30/2015

Mary J. Collins, age 88, formerly of North Wales, died on June 30, 2015 at the Regina Nursing Center in Norristown.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late John and Sarah Nee Clark. She was a graduate of Gwynedd Mercy High School.

Mrs. Collins has been a resident at the Regina Nursing Center since 2007 and was formerly from Ambler and North Wales.

She worked as a secretary for Conrail at the 30th Street Station in Philadelphia, retiring in 1998.

She had been a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lansdale. Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and she was very proud of her Irish heritage.

Surviving are her 4 children Stephen J. Collins and his wife Anne of Chicago, Marybeth DiVincenzo and her husband Gary of Chester Springs, Sheilah Collins and her spouse Mary Zimmerman of Pylesville, MD and Paul F. Collins and his wife Karen of Montgomeryville; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She is also survived by a brother Frank Clark and his wife Noreen of Ambler and a sister Eileen Mason of Wildwood. She was preceded in death by her brother John J. Clark.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, July 7th at 10AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA. 19446. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday evening from 7 to 9PM and also on Tuesday morning from 8:30 to 9:30AM at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main Street, Lansdale, PA. 19446. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

For those desiring, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Mary’s name to the Regina Nursing Center, 550 E. Fornance Street, Norristown, PA. 19401 would be preferred.
