Mary J. Testa of Upper Gwynedd, formerly of Norristown, died Friday April 17, 2015. Mrs. Testa was preceded by her beloved husband of 63 years, Charles A. Testa, in June of 2009. Born and raised in Norristown she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lena (nee. Monastero) Butera. Mrs. Testa worked for Merck and Co. for 32 years as a Medical Librarian, retiring in 1983. She volunteered her time as a Poll Worker on Election Day. Mrs. Testa loved to cook and was a fastidious homemaker. She is survived by her loving daughter, Joy T. Dancer and her husband Ernest of Westerville, OH and her loving son Charles J. Testa and his wife Khristy of Lansdale, a brother Joseph Butera and his wife Stella of Collegeville and a sister Peggy Jane Schnable of Lansdale, as well as 6 Grandchildren and 5 Great Granndchildren. In addition to her husband and parents she preceded by 4 siblings. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday, Evening April 21, 2015 from 6 to 8 PM at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main St., Lansdale, Pa. 19446. All are invited to her Funeral Mass which will be celebrated on Wednesday Morning, April 22, 2015 at 10 AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA. 19446.
