Leonard S. Jennis, age 84, of Hatfield died Sunday, March 22, 2015.  He had been in failing health.

He was the husband of 62 years of Helen J. Jennis.  Born in Shamokin, Pa., he was the son of the late Walter L. and Sophia (Novich) Jennis.

Mr. Jennis served his country proudly with the United States Army during the Korean War.  He was a lifelong Railroad worker.  Before moving to the North Penn area he had lived in Philadelphia for over 50 years.

Mr. Jennis was a member of St. Maria Goretti Parish.  In addition to his wife he is survived by his sons David P. Jennis (Maureen) of Cheltenham and Stephen R. Jennis (Donna Smith) of NE Philadelphia, a daughter Lisa M. Graham of Telford, 6 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren as well as a son-in-law Kenneth Graham, Sr .

Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 10:30 AM at St. Maria Goretti Church, 1601 Derstine Rd, Hatfield, PA. 19440, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 AM before Mass.  Interment Private.
