Helen R. Lordi, age 92, of North Wales died July 2nd at Abington Health Lansdale Hospital. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Immaculata DeMarco.

Mrs. Lordi was a cafeteria worker at Lansdale Catholic High School.

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and was a faithful bingo player at St. Stans and Corpus Christi Church.

Mrs. Lordi was a Gold Star Mother. Her son, Louis R. Lordi was killed in action in Vietnam in 1968.

Her beloved husband, George J. Lordi, Sr., died in October, 1992.

Surviving is her son George J. Lordi, Jr. and his wife Virginia of Barto and her daughter Denise Spear and her husband Paul of North Wales; four grandchildren, George, 3rd, Anthony, Melissa and Jenna and 5 great grandchildren and her brother Joseph DeMarco of South Philadelphia. She was preceded in death by sisters Theresa Piunti and Elizabeth DeSimone.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, July 6th at 10AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale, PA. 19446 where the family will receive friends Saturday from 9 to 9:45AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. For those desiring, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Helen’s memory to Gold Star Mothers, 2128 Leroy Place, Washington, DC 20008.
