Gerald (Jerry) Kane—7/18/2021

Gerald Joseph Kane, (Jerry) of Montgomeryville, Pa., passed away on Sunday, July 18, 2021 at his home. He was 85 years old.

Jerry was born on October 18, 1935, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Thomas and Jean (Lambert) Kane. He moved to Pennsylvania and married Irene Daniels on October 1, 1960, at St. Stanislaus Church in Lansdale. They were married 60 years and had 4 children: two daughters, Jane Curtis, Mary Kane and a son, Daniel Kane, and a deceased son Robert Kane.

Jerry had two brothers Sid Lambert Kane, Mike Kane and deceased brother Dave Kane. Also surviving are a son-in-law, Steve Curtis, and grandchildren, Greg and Renee Curtis.

Jerry graduated from the Illinois School for the Deaf. He was involved in several sports there and most recently he was involved in the school’s museum collecting old school photographs.

Jerry enjoyed traveling, sports, and was a talented photographer. He was also involved in the De Sales Society at St. Stanislaus church for many years.

Relatives and friends are invited to Gerald’s Funeral Mass on Friday, July 30, 2021, at 10:30 AM at Mary, Mother of the Redeemer Catholic Church, 1325 Upper State Rd., North Wales, PA 19454, where the family will receive friends in Church, prior to Mass, beginning at 9:30 AM.
