Mary Anne Nentwig—8/12/2016

Mary Anne (Sweeney) Nentwig, of Blue Bell, formerly of Camp Hill, PA, passed away Friday, August 12, 2016 at the age of 82.  Born August 31, 1933, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of Edward and Susan (Lynch) Sweeney.  One of five children she grew up in Upper Darby, PA

Mary Anne was the loving wife of Charles Nentwig, who passed in 2009.  She worked at General Electric and later at both The Book of the Month Club and Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg. She was a member of Good Shepherd Church for 38 years and enjoyed playing cards with friends in Camp Hill.

She is survived by her four children, Mary Kay Nentwig of Chester Springs, Judith Nentwig (David Cox) of Lower Gwynedd, Paula Taylor (Steve) of Yangon, Myanmar, and Charles Nentwig Jr. (Rachel) of New Cumberland; her brother Jim Sweeney (Toots) of San Rafael, CA; her sister Bonnie Anastasi of West Palm Beach, FL, her sister-in-law Ann Sweeney of Warminster and her eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Catherine McCarron and her brother Edward Sweeney.

Funeral Mass will be held at 11 am Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Saint Helena Church, 1489 Dekalb Pike, Blue Bell, PA 19422. Friends and family will be received prior to the Mass from 10 am to 11 am.  Interment at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Broomall, PA will be private at the convenience of the family.
