Conrad Mizdail–11/12/2020

Conrad Mizdail (Miz), beloved husband and father, died Thursday afternoon, November.12, 2020, in Lansdale Hospital, surrounded by his children.

Conrad was born December 13th, 1928 in Reading PA, the oldest son of the late Pauline (Jarmosky) and Bruce Mizdail and the loving husband of Gloria (Faller) Mizdail.

His marriage to Gloria was one of the joys of his life and they recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on November 3rd. They lived in Lansdale and raised four children. They have seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

In his earlier years, he was an active member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as the financial secretary, treasurer and a Grand Knight. He loved to garden and was always working on a woodworking project. He took much pride in the presentation of his Christmas displays and won Best decorated house in Lansdale.

For the past five years he has been living at Park Creek Assisted Living. He has made many friends there and was loved by many. We will all certainly miss his favorite sayings – “Where’s my bride?” and ”How ya doing?”…. and if you asked him that question, his response would always be “Hanging in there” The halls will be a bit quieter now.

Conrad is survived by his wife Gloria(Faller) of Reading; son Rick of East Norriton; son Ray and Theresa(Conwell) of Lansdale; daughter Therese(Teri) and Joe Monastero of Schwenksville; and daughter Lisa and Dennis Forbes of Jamison. Grandchildren: James (married to Amanda), Erin (married to Richard), Janelle, Kelly (married to Kyle), and Stephanie. Great grandchildren: Caide, Bryson, Ethan, Jocelyn, Cambria, and baby Abens.

Preceded in death by Grandchild Renee; great Grandchild baby Isabelle; Sisters Barbara and Bernice.

Hubby, Dad, GrandPop, Connie, we all love you and will really miss you! You made this world a better place.

In the interest of keeping everyone safe during this time, the viewing and mass will now be private for only the immediate family. Thank you all for your love and support at this time.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Conrad Mizdail’s name to the Rett Syndrome Foundation at https://www.rettsyndrome.org/get-involved/donate/
