Blanche Dolores Irwin—12/1/2017

Blanche Dolores Irwin, age 87, of Gwynedd Valley, formerly of South Jersey and Bradenton, FL. died Friday, December 1, 2017 at Blue Bell Place Assisted Living. She had been in failing health.

She was preceded by her husband, Edward George Irwin in February of 2004.

Born and raised in the Germantown Section of Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late C. Edison and Florence E. (nee. Daly) Weir.  She worked as a bookkeeper in the Accounting Industry.

Mrs. Irwin was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling and entertaining.  She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.

Surviving are her two daughters; Marilyn I Heitlinger and her husband Leo of Colmar and Karen I. McCreavy and her husband Dick of Gwynedd Valley, a sister-in-law, Elaine Schimsky and her husband Dave of Florida, 4 grandchildren; Kim, Rachel, Ben and Becca as well as 5 great grandchildren; Kenzie, Brayden, Riley, Josh and Caia.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 424 S. Main St., North Wales, PA. 19454, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM in Church before Mass.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham.
