John A. Montes–8/27/2017

John A. Montes, age 53, of Quakertown, formerly of Hatfield and Philadelphia died on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem.  Born in Philadelphia on March 18, 1964, he was the son of the late John J. and Melva (Guzman) Montes. He graduated from East Gaston High School in Mt. Holly N.C.

Mr. Montes served his country honorably with the United States Navy during the mid-eighties.  He worked as a Supervisor of Manufacturing for Micross Components in Hatfield.  He was of the Catholic faith.  Mr. Montes enjoyed computers and computer gaming, electronics, being outdoors and had a deep love of animals.

Surviving are his beloved brother Nicholas J. DelleDonne and his wife Beverly of Strasburg, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Service at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main St., Lansdale, PA 19446, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM before the Service.  Interment private at a later date.

  2. I had the pleasure of working with John for 3 years at Micross Components. I’m that time he became a great friend and mentor. He will be greatly missed.
