Frederick Michael Scheetz, 65, passed away on August 10, 2017 at Grandview Hospital. He was born in Philadelphia, Pa, and was a longtime resident of North Wales.

Frederick was a volunteer of the Fire Police of Upper Gwynedd Fire Station 80 where he was a lifetime member. He was also a member and a volunteer for the Lions Club and the Volunteer Medical Service Corp Auxiliary.

Frederick is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen (Camburn) Scheetz, his mother Lillian Scheetz, his siblings William Scheetz Jr (Cynthia), Michael Scheetz, Linda Schuler (Mark), Lillian M. Scheetz, many nieces and nephews, and preceded in death by father William Scheetz Sr., and sister Maureen Perilli (Robert).

Family and friends are welcome to gather on Saturday August 19, 2017, starting at 9:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 900 Sumneytown Pike, Upper Gwynedd, (mailing address Lansdale, Pa 19446).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in Frederick’s memory to the Upper Gwynedd Fire House (660 Garfield Ave., Lansdale PA 19446) or the Lansdale Lions Club (615 Delaware Ave. Lansdale PA 19446).
