Howard B. Spofford, Jr, 80, of Lansdale, PA passed peacefully on June 8, 2017. He was husband to the late Patricia A (Suder) Spofford who died October 4, 1994.

Born July 25, 1936 in Ardsley, PA to the late Howard and Margaret (McNeil) Spofford, Mr. Spofford graduated from Abington High School and joined the United States Air Force where he served as a radio operator and navigator.  Upon his discharge he worked for Philco and the Philadelphia Electric Company where he retired from in 1994.

Moving to Lansdale in 1962 to raise his family, Howard coached both Lansdale Little League baseball and Lansdale Cannoneer football teams. He spent many years traveling to the Poconos and loved to play golf.

He is survived by his daughter Deborah (Larson) and son Howard, of Lansdale, and son Jeffrey of Yardley; ten grandchildren Gabrielle, Michael (Deborah), Ryan (DuBois), Joshua (DuBois) Alicia, Howard, Brooke (Howard), Emily (Palmer) Olivia, Jeffrey (Jeffrey), and his brother William of New Mexico.

Relatives and friends may call from 11:00 am to noon on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA. and to attend his Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm.  Burial will be at St. John Neumann Cemetary (3797 County Line Rd., Chalfont, PA). Arrangements by Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home in Lansdale.
