  1. Sorry to hear of his death. i was just reading a letter he sent to me while I was in Vietnam and he was at Ft. Lee. We both graduated from IUP in 66 and went through ROTC. Lost contact with him soon after Vietnam. I happened to save all my correspondence from Vietnam and have been going through it since Jan 2017 converting family letters to digital form. Found correspondence from other people and may digitize them also. Interesting reading. Sorry I didn’t do it sooner, we may have reconnected.

  2. So sad to hear this. Mr. Flango was a great teacher who absolutely cared about his students. He’s at least partly responsible for the career path I chose as a software engineer as a result of his computer programming class. Thank you, Mr. Flango. RIP.

  3. Sending sympathy to Wendy and all of the family from Wayne, Mary Ann Cessna, John, Ron and Laurie Flango. We are here praying for all of you, confident that God will embrace each of you within His tender, loving arms during this time of special need.
May cousin Jim’s soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace. Amen.
