Eleanor T. (Buffett) Saldutti—12/11/2016

Eleanor T. (Buffett) Saldutti, 91, of Lansdale, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2016 peacefully in her home surrounded by her family.

She was the beloved wife of the late Carl W. Saldutti who passed away in 2009. The daughter of Victoria (Scicchitano) Buffett & Francis Buffett, she was born on December 4, 1925 in Shamokin, PA. She was a graduate of Shamokin High School where she excelled in academics and studied music playing the alto saxophone in several bands. Eleanor spent most of her early married years as a homemaker raising her four children. Later she worked at Pete’s Market in Lansdale and for a number of years was employed by St. Mary Manor. Among her leisured pleasures, she mostly enjoyed travel, vacationing at the Jersey Shore, trips to the casino and time spent with her grandchildren and great grand-children.

Eleanor is survived by her four children, Carol Ferry, Carl Saldutti , Jr. (Pamela), Thomas Saldutti (Justine) and Michele Weaver (Shawn); 8 grandchildren, Jessica, Megan, Daniel, Lauren, Lindsay, Dylan, Rachel, and Nico; and 8 great-grandchildren, Luke, Lola, Jordyn, Harper, Amelia, Flynn, Gavin and Ryan.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her four sisters, Rose Eberle, Catherine Rossi, Louise Lutz and Jacqueline Raffle and a brother Anthony Buffett.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA. 19446, where the family will receive friends from 9:30AM to 11:00AM Saturday morning before Mass.  Interment private at a later date.
