J. Willard Weigner—6/8/2016

J. Willard Weigner, age 91, a lifelong resident of Lansdale died at the Peter Becker Community in Harleysville.  He had been in failing health.

He is the beloved husband of 69 years of Nancy L. (France) Weigner.

Born in Lansdale he was the son of the late Lester and Mildred (Heebner) Weigner.  Mr. Weigner worked in the Milk House for Sunny Ayr Farms, formerly in Worcester and later was a mechanic at Ford Visteon.  He was a devoted member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church where he served as an usher for most of his life.

Mr. Weigner enjoyed trips to the mountains and fishing. In addition to his wife he is survived by three loving children; two sons, John W. Weigner and his wife Concetta of Lansdale and Michael J. Weigner and his wife Laurie of Tampa, FL, one daughter, Peggy J. McDermott and her husband Eugene of Alameda, CA., five grandchildren; John (Megan), Sean (Ilona), Kelly, Gabriella and Alexa, one great grandchild Kayla, step-grandchildren, David Walton (Mary) and Stephen Walton and step-great grandchildren Malia and Alexa as well as two sisters; Shirley and Betty Jane Weigner.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA. 19446, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM., Saturday morning before Mass. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mr. Weigner’s name to Grand View Hospital Hospice, 700 Lawn Ave., Sellersville, PA. 18960 or to Peter Becker Community, 800 Maple Ave, Harleysville, PA. 19438.
