Frederick J. Salone, age 70, of Hatfield, died at his residence on Thursday, May 19th. He had been in failing health.

Born in Lansdale, Fred was the only child of the late Frederick and Josephine Geldi Salone. He was a graduate from St. Stanislaus Elementary School and Lansdale Catholic High School.

Fred worked as a fork lift operator for French’s Mustard at the company plant in Souderton for 35 years, Yarway Company of Blue Bell for 15 years and Cigars, Cigars of Colmar for 5 years.

His beloved wife, Patricia  A. Schmidt Salone, died on September 26, 2015.

Surviving are his sons Nicholas J. Salone and his wife Erin of Souderton and Michael F. Salone of Telford and four grandchildren Tyler, Nicky, Chanse and Kianna. Fred had no brothers or sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Wednesday morning, June 1st at 11AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51  Lansdale Avenue, Lansdale, PA. 19446 where the family will receive friends Wednesday morning, prior to Mass, from 10 to 11AM.

Interment private at a later date.. For those desiring, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to National Center for Padre Pio, P.O Box 206, Barto, PA. 19504 would be preferred. Arrangements by Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, Lansdale.
