Rebecca Mildred Evans Walker
93, Lansdale Pa
Born: January 6, 1923 joined our Lord on April 16, 2016.

Rebecca was born to the late Dillard Walker and Elisabeth Petty in Philadelphia PA. She was preceded in death by her husband James J. Walker Sr. and son in law Rudolph Darden. Rebecca is survived by her three children, Joanne W. Darden of Norristown, Carol Terry of Lansdowne and James J. Walker Jr. (Veronica) of North Wales. Mom Mom was the loving grandmother of 7, great grandmother of 14 and great, great grand mom of 5.

Rebecca was a beautiful gem with many facets, she lead her life with spunk, kindness and love. She taught her family to love the Lord, to be kind, compassionate and to follow their hearts. Rebecca had many accomplishments in life. One is education; as she received her GED at the age of 76. She implored her family to never stop learning. Two, she loved the Lord and encouraged prayer and time with our Father. Three, she fiercely loved her family.
A private memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The ALS Association Greater Philadelphia Chapter 321 Norristown Road, Suite 260 Ambler, PA 19002 or Schwenkfeld Manor 1292 Allentown Rd, Lansdale, PA 19446.
