Frank Menta—4/9/2016

image001Frank Menta, age 85, of Lansdale died on April 9, 2016 at Abington Health Lansdale Hospital in Lansdale. He had been in failing health.

Born and raised  in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Giuseppe and Rosalinda Dellosa Menta. He has lived in Lansdale since 1963 and was formerly of Philadelphia.

Frank attended Penn State Technical School. He proudly served in the US Air Force in Korea during the war.

He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lansdale and was a member of the St. Stanislaus Senior Citizens. He also was a Water Walker at the North Penn YMCA and was a comic Mummer. Frank also supported and cheered for all of the Philadelphia sports teams and he loved his summers in Wildwood Crest.

Surviving is his beloved wife of 63 years Anna Massaro Menta and his three loving daughters Rosemary Herman and her husband Charles of Quakertown, Linda Benischeck and her husband Joseph of Harleysville and Diane Sette and her husband Dan of North Wales and 5 grandchildren Andrea O’Flynn, Kevin Herman, Tara Benischeck and Daniel and Nicholas Sette and 2 great grandchildren Ava Grace and Lilianna O’Flynn.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Friday, April 15th at 11AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA. 19446 where the family will receive friends Friday morning from 9:30 to 10:45AM. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
