One of our long time Lansdale residents will be missed. Miriam Esther Hazzard knocked at heaven’s door and was greeted with open arms on Friday, February 19, 2016.
Miriam, known to all as “Mim”, was born on January 27, 1951 in the beautiful town of Naranjito, Puerto Rico. She is survived by her husband Joseph Hazzard and two sons, Jason and Joseph “Joey”. Her parents, Antonio and Manuela Rivera greeted Miriam at heaven’s door along with her oldest brother Oscar. Her other loving family members are Sonia Risell, Briseida Rivera, Lucy Nelson and her husband Ken, Manuel “Manny”, David and his wife Donna, Tony “Junior”, George and his wife Cindy.
Miriam worked for the United States Post Office for over 27 years. She also worked at Hamburg, Rubin, Mullin, Maxwell & Lupin Law firm prior to her years at the post office. Most who knew Mim in the early years remembered her love for children and years of babysitting for many of her friends.
