James E. Kasher, III—1/11/2016

James E. Kashner, III, age 81, of Christ Home, Warminster, formerly of Oreland died on January 11, 2016 at Holy Redeemer Hospital in Meadowbrook.

Born in Bloomsburg, he was the son of the late James E. II and Loretta O’Brien Kashner.

He has lived at Christ Home for 2 years and had been a longtime resident of Oreland.

Jim was a Baptist and a 50-year Mason. He also was an avid golfer.

Jim worked as a purchasing agent at Mrs. Paul’s Kitchen and later worked for Campbells Soup Co. in Camden.

He also taught Business Education and Typing at Upper Darby High School.

His beloved wife Mary C. Cuber Kashner died on February 11, 2010.

Surviving is his daughter Ann E. Pape and her husband Don of Willow Grove and two sons James E. Kashner and his fiancé Karen Freed of Willow Grove and John B. Kashner and his wife Kathryn of Bethlehem and four grandchildren Shawn, Cameron, Ellie and Casey.
Jim was predeceased by his sister Sandra O’Brien.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Monday, January 18th at 10:30AM at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 W. County Line Road, (between Bustleton Ave. and Pine Road) in Huntington Valley, PA. 19006, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 AM before the Service.
