Mary A. (nee. Miller) Cartwright of Upper Gwynedd, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2015.  She was 90 years old.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, on April 22, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Harry K. Miller and Agnes V. (Lynch) Miller. Mary is survived by her devoted husband, Ralph J. Cartwright, Jr. with whom she had shared 65 years of marriage. November 19, 2015 they would have celebrated their 66th wedding anniversary.

Mary was a graduate of Little Flower High School in Philadelphia.

She met her devoted husband in 1946 after he returned from WWII.  Mary was a wonderful and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Mary led an active life caring for her family as well as our beloved pets.

She was employed by Harriet Carter Gifts from 1968 to 1985.

Mary was an active member of St. Rose of Lima Roman Catholic Church in North Wales, PA. She was involved with the Keenager’s Club at Church for many years.

In addition to her husband Mary is also survived by her daughters, Mary Doughty (David) of Hilltown, Margaret Brendlinger (Craig) of Upper Pottsgrove, Marian Cartwright (Tricia Dice) of Carlsbad, CA, and Monica Ercolani of North Wales, a daughter in-law, Phyllis, twelve grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death in death by her son Ralph J Cartwright, III.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mary’s Funeral Mass on Friday, November 20, 2015 at 11 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church, 428 S. Main St., North Wales, PA. 19454 where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11 AM. before Mass. Interment in St. John Neumann Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution in Mary’s name can be made to American Diabetes Association, P.O.
