Gregory Martin Walsh, age 26, of Hatfield died on August 23, 2015.
Born in Chestnut Hill Hospital in Philadelphia, he was the son of Patrick J. DDS and Susan J. Walsh of Hatfield and father of Cole Thomas Walsh; brother of Melissa Walsh and her husband John of Hatfield; Sarah Williams and her husband Anthony of Winthrop. Mass; John Walsh, DDS, Lt Commander, US Navy and his wife Meghan DDS of Okinawa, Japan; Patrick Walsh and his wife Mindy of Souderton; Robert Walsh of Hatfield, and Nora Walsh of Hatfield.
Also surviving is his maternal grandmother Mary Beatty of Lansdale.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Jack Beatty and paternal grandparents John and Gloria Rans Walsh.
Gregory graduated from Lansdale Catholic High School, class of 2007 and Widener University,
class of 2011.
He was a member of the faculty at Beverly Hills Middle School where he taught 6th grade mathematics and coached Middle School lacrosse and starting this fall would have coached Middle School football.
His Funeral Mass was celebrated on Friday, August 28th at 10AM at St. Maria Goretti Church in Hatfield, PA. Interment was in St. John Neumann Cemetery.
For those desiring, in lieu of flowers, contributions in Gregory’s memory to St. Maria Goretti Church, Cowpath and Derstine Rds., Hatfield, PA. 19440 would be preferred.
Mr. Walsh was my 8th grade Lacrosse Coach…. He was the one to teach me how to pick up a lacrosse stick and use it in game…. He prepared me and now i can play…. Listening to this story hurts bery much but he was a very good person and coach

I am lost for words about the news of Gregs passing. I am so deeply sorry. Greg was an amazing person with such a huge heart. At one point in time he was my absolute everything and I am grateful for the time that I was able to spend with him. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Walsh family at this time of loss.

I wish to offer my sincere condolences on your loss. Greg was such a lovely young man. I can’t imagine what it must be like. I know God welcomes him home. I will keep him in my prayers.
