Charles Weiger—8/26/2015

Charles M. Weiger, age 86, of Lansdale died on August 26th at his residence. He had been in failing health.

Born and raised in the Torresdale  section of Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Charles M. Weiger, Sr and Anne Marie Shields Weiger.

He graduated from the former North Wales High School. Mr. Weiger served for 6 years in the US Air Force.

Mr. Weiger was a sheet metal worked at the former M. A. Fadeley Co. which had been part of the American Olean Tile Co in Lansdale.

He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lansdale.

He loved cars, the New York Yankees and Jim Beam bourbon bottles.

Surviving is his beloved wife of 59 years, Dolores M. Derfler Weiger, his nephew Kent and Linda Jaggers of Lansdale, his niece Kathy Kalb of Roxborough and his sister in law Roseann Clower and her husband Earl of Lansdale. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Saturday, August 29th at 11AM at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main St., Lansdale, PA. 19446 where the family will receive friends Saturday from 9:30AM to 10:45AM. Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery.
