Robert W. Weston, age 82, of Lansdale died on May 15, 2015 at Saint Mary Manor, Lansdale. He had been in failing health.
Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Anna Graham Weston.
Mr. Weston graduated from North Catholic High School in Philadelphia, where he played soccer and baseball.
He served in the US Navy for 26 years including the Korean War aboard the USS Tidewater. He worked in electronics repair at Moore Products in Springhouse and also Honeywell in Philadelphia.
Mr. Weston was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lansdale.
He also was a member of the Fairmount Fire Company and the North Penn Fire Company serving with the fire police.
Surviving is his beloved wife Stella F. Miley Weston; his daughter Sandra Valencik of Lansdale and two sons David Weston of Upper Darby and Matthew Weston of Virginia Beach and four grandchildren Avery, Alex, Katie and Mason and his sister Theresa Yannessa.
Mr. Weston was preceded in death by three brothers John, Billie and Ray Weston and five sisters Helen Sykes, Marie McShane, Elizabeth DePero, Anna Stump and Rita Hagelin.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service on Thursday, May 21st at 11AM at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home where the family will receive friends Thursday from 9:30 to 11AM. Interment Washington Crossing National Cemetery in Newtown.
