Frances A. Piper—4/28/15

Frances A. Piper, age 97, of Lansdale died on April 28th at the Peter Becker Community in Harleysville.

Born in Colmar, she was the daughter of the late John and Alma Oberholzer Holly. Mrs. Piper has lived in Lansdale since 1951.

She worked in the cafeteria at Lansdale Catholic High School and later worked in assembly at former Gas Springs Company.

Her beloved husband, Allen R. Piper, died on December 2, 1980.

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lansdale. She very much enjoyed gardening especially growing and caring for flowers and she was a gifted piano player. She also liked to eat out with her family and many friends.

Surviving are two daughters Kathleen F. Piper of Quakertown and Patricia A. Hanley and her husband David of Lansdale and her son Robert A. Piper. Also surviving is her brother Bert Holly and his wife Mary Jane of Lansdale; many nieces and nephews and her dear friend Irma Rivera. She was preceded in death by brothers Cyril, Robert and John Holly and sisters Pearl Hauck, Margaretta Czerwonka, Veronica Skrzat, Alice Marlnee and Elaine Serok.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, May 1st at 10AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA. 19446 where the family will receive friends Friday morning at Church from 9 to 10AM. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

For those desiring, in lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Frances to St. Stanislaus Church (address above) would be preferred.
