Image (60)Elizabeth W. Lindblom, age 90. of Lansdale, PA and Thousand Island Park, NY, passed away on April 18, 2015 of a brief illness surrounded by her loving family.

Born on March 30, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Richard E. and Augusta Mahr Williams.

She has lived in Montgomery Township for 60 years.

She graduated from Syracuse University and worked for 30 years in the Central Bucks School District as a special reading teacher and principal. She achieved several Masters Degrees from Temple University and was active in the PSEA. After retirement she was an enthusiastic volunteer for various organizations: as a tutor to underprivileged and disadvantaged people, acting as an EMT for an ambulance service, and as an active member of Holy Trinity Episcopalian Church in Lansdale.

Her greatest joys were world travel, bridge, the Phillies and spending time with friends and family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

She was the beloved mother of two sons, Stephen Lindblom and his wife, Katie, of Telford and Peter Lindblom and his wife, Terry, of Wernersville.. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Michael, David, and Stephanie Lindblom (Jeff DiDominico) and Alice Hill (Brian Hill) and a niece and two nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister, Effie Williams.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Thursday, April 23rd at 11AM at the Holy Trinity Episcopal Church, 407 North Broad Street, Lansdale, PA. 19446 where the family will receive friends Thursday morning from 10 to 11AM. Interment private.
