Jeremiah Patrick Kearney—4/9/2015

Jeremiah Patrick Kearney, age 72, of Lansdale, formerly of Ambler, died Thursday, April 9, 2015.  He was the beloved husband of Kathleen (nee. McCool) Kearney for 49 years.

Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late James and Eileen (nee. O’Sullivan) Kearney.

Mr. Kearney worked at Merck & Co. as a Buyer and Planner for 38 years retiring in 2003.

He proudly served his country with the United States Navy in the early 1960s.

Mr. Kearney was a member of St. Stanislaus Church and Merck Retirees.

In addition to his wife he is survived by three loving daughters; Marylynn Stecher and her husband Daniel of Ventnor, NJ., Bernadette Kearney of Lafayette Hill and Kathleen Kearney of New York City, one loving son James Joseph Kearney and his wife Emily of Santa Barbara, CA., one brother Brendan C. Kearney and his wife Bernadette of Lower Gwynedd as well as four Grandchildren; Gavin and Zachary Stecher and Leo and Gracie Kearney.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jerry’s viewings on Monday evening, April 13th from 6 to 8 PM at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main St., Lansdale, PA 19446 and again on Tuesday morning, April 14, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM also at the Funeral Home followed by his Funeral Mass at 10 AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA. 19446.  Interment Lansdale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Jerry’s name to St. Stanislaus Church, (address above) would be preferred.
