Rosalie A. Mandronico—4/7/2015

Rosalie A. Mandronico, age 72, of Harleysville died on April 7th at Abington Health Lansdale Hospital.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Rosario and Marian DiRuzzo Catalano. She spent her childhood in Rome, NY.

Mrs. Mandronico graduated from St. Aloysius Academy and attended Syracuse School of Business.

Her family relocated to Pennsylvania in 1975. Rosalie was also the famous Rodi of Rodi’s Restaurant in Chalfont. She spent 28 years at Cedarbrook Country Club wearing many different hats. Most recently she was a bus assistant for the North Penn School District.

She loved working with children with special needs.

Rosalie will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Upper Gwynedd.

Surviving is her beloved husband of 50 years, Alex Mandronico. She was the devoted mother of Judi Mandronico of Souderton, Toni Stuetz and her husband Raymond of Gilbertsville and Shari Whitby and her husband Keith of Levittown and her beloved  grandchildren Cecilia and Matthew Stuetz.

She is also survived by her two brothers James Catalano of Massena, NY and Dominick Catalano of Kent, Ohio and many nieces and nephews and loved ones.

The family will receive friends at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main Street, Lansdale, PA 19446 on Saturday afternoon, April 11th, from 2 to 4PM and also Saturday evening from 6 to 8PM.

There will also be a viewing on Monday evening from 6 to 8PM at the Bottini Funeral Home in Rome, NY. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11AM at St. John the Baptist Church in Rome followed by interment in St. John the Baptist Cemetery.

For those desiring, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Rosalie’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN. 38101-9908 would be preferred.
