William F. Oehler—3/20/2015

William F. Oehler, age 86, of Schwenksville, died on March 20, 2015 at his home surrounded by his family.

Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late Frederick and Rose Henry Oehler. He graduated from Dobbins High School. Mr. Oehler has lived in Schwenksville for 2 1/2 years and was formerly from Harleysville.

He served in the US Army in Germany during the Korean War.

Mr. Oehler had been a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Upper Gwynedd and was  currently a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Schwenksville (Delphi). He enjoyed golf, bowling, hunting, woodworking, softball and was a member of the pit crew for the Magnum Racing Team (Quarter Midgets)

His beloved wife Margaret Campion Oehler died in Sept., 2011. Also preceding him was his loving daughter Christine Oehler.

Surviving are his children Rosemary Nace of Schwenksville, William Oehler of Rochester, NY., Joseph Oehler and his wife Janice of Schwenksville, Paul Oehler and his wife Cheryl of Coopersburg, Kathleen DeMend and her husband Walter of Perkiomenville and Diane Magdule and her husband Robert of Breinigsville, PA. Also surviving are grandchildren Shawn, Jacqueline, Matthew, Nicholas, Michael, Kaitlin, Melissa, David and Alfred and his great grandson Conor.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Tuesday, March 24th at 11AM at St. Mary Church, 40 Spring Mount Rd., Schwenksville (Dephi, PA. 19473 where the family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 to 11AM. Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery.
