Garrity, Frances K., age 97, of St. Joseph’s Villa in Flourtown, died Friday, February 27, 2015.

She had formerly been a longtime resident of the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia.

Mrs. Garrity was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vincent T. Garrity in 1982.  She was the daughter of the late Frank J. and Elizabeth K. (Rothemund) Kuhn.  Mrs. Garrity graduated with the class of 1935 from John W. Hallahan Catholic Girls High School.  Surviving are her two sons, Dr. Thomas F. Garrity, (Ann) of Lexington, KY and John V. Garrity (Stephanie) of Bethlehem, PA. and one daughter Helen P. Fecak (David) of Blue Bell as well as 9 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded by her son Rev. Stephen M. Garrity, S.J. and two sisters Helen Roy and Grace Taylor.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Thursday, March 5, 2015, at 10:30 AM at  St. Joseph’s Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave., Flourtown, PA. 19031, where the family will receive friends from 9:15 to 10:30 AM, Thursday morning before Mass.  Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Cheltenham.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Frances’s name may be made to St. Joseph’s Villa (address above).
