Denise M. Sullivan, nee Cavavaugh, 69 years young passed on February 23rd to her heavenly reward.

Born in Philadelphia in September, 1945, she was the daughter of the late John and Agnes Cavanaugh and was the beloved wife of Joseph E. Sullivan for 46 1/2 years and was nurturing mother of four children: Christine D. (deceased), Joseph D. (Joy), Charles J. (Gulnur) and John W. (Andrea) and devoted grandmother to her two grandsons Oscar and James Sullivan, plus sister of Betty Jane Ward, Isabella Pezka, Jacqueline Ahearn (dec’d) and James (Lois) Cavanaugh along with nine nieces and nephews plus 15 grand nieces and nephews survive their Aunt Denise.

Born in East Falls and a graduate of St. Bridget’s (’59), John Hallihan High School (’63) and Temple University (’68) with a BA in Spanish earned by working at the A & P Tea Company and then worked for the State of PA upon graduation.

Resident of NE Philadelphia/Somerton before moving to Chalfont, Bucks County in 1977 who totally enjoyed raising her family and participation in many school related activities for years and her many cats and dogs, her swimming pool, and vacations to Europe, Mexico, Hawaii and Ocean City, NJ.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Saturday, Feb. 28th at 10:30 AM at St. Jude Church, 321 W. Butler Ave., (old Rt. 202), Chalfont, PA. 18914 where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30AM. Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery.
