Agnes M. Cunningham—2/4/2015

Agnes M. Cunningham, age 95, a lifelong resident of Lansdale died peacefully February 4, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband J. Joseph Cunningham in December of 1996.

Born in Perkasie she was the daughter of William J. and Anna (Stover) Curley.  Mrs.

Cunningham was involved in the formation and building of both Corpus Christi Catholic Church and St. Stanislaus Catholic Church.  At St. Stanislaus she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and the Miraculous Medal Society.  She enjoyed Crocheting, Needlepoint and was a talented Seamstress.  Although she was a fan of all sports she had a particular fondness for the Philadelphia Phillies and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Her main focus throughout her life was always her family.

Surviving are her two loving daughters; Marie Vincent and her husband Neil of Souderton and Lisa A. Keller and her husband Marlon of Lansdale and her two loving sons; John J. Cunningham and his wife Joan of Lansdale and Gerard P. Cunningham and his wife Alice of Silverdale, a brother Robert Curley and his wife Louise, and three sisters, Anne Hatch, Mary Curley, and Sr. Dolora Marie Curley, OSF, as well as 8 Granchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren.  In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by 3 brothers; William, Joseph and James Curley and 2 sisters; Alice Hufnagle and Eleanor O’Connor.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, Pa. 19446, where the family will receive friends from 10 to 11 AM Wednesday morning, before Mass.  Interment Greenlawn Cemetery in North Wales.  In lieu of Flowers Memorial Contributions in Agnes’s name to, The Sisters of St. Francis Foundation (for “The Assisi House”), 609 S.
