Stephen A. Uba, age 61, of Hatfield, formerly of Lansdale died Sunday, November 9, 2014 at Temple University Hospital after a brief illness.
He was the beloved husband of 36 years of Marian C. (nee. Harrison) Uba. Born in Trappe he was the son of the late Richard and Lucy (nee. Wojiechowski) Uba.
Mr. Uba worked as a Sterilizer Technician for the Steris Corporation. He served his country honorably as a Tech. Sergeant with the United States Air Force. Mr. Uba was active with the Hatfield American Legion Post 933 for 20 years. He was an avid golfer in his free time.
Mr. Uba was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church in Hatfield.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his loving brother, Richard Uba and his wife Karen of Gilbertsville and many loving nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Dennis Uba.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Friday, November 14, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Maria Goretti Church, 1601 Derstine Rd., Hatfield, PA. 19440, where the family will receive friends from 9:30 to 11:00 AM., Friday morning before Mass. Interment private.
