Joseph P. Walsh, Jr., age 68, of Chalfont, formerly of Lansdale died April 4th at Neshaminy Manor in Warrington. Born in West Rockhill Township, he was the son the late Joseph P., Sr. and Elizabeth Sauer Walsh. He graduated from St. Stanislaus Elementary School and Lansdale Catholic High School both in Lansdale and attended LaSalle University in Philadelphia.
Mr. Walsh served in the Army reserve.
He owned and operated Walsh Auto Body Shop in Telford and had a keen interest in cars.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 46 years Irene Agnes Keller Walsh; two daughters Irene “Renee” Atkins and her husband James of North Wales and Keely Frances Catherine Mahan and her husband Andrew of Chalfont and his son Joseph Patrick Walsh, III and his wife, Katrina, of Telford; two grandchildren, Jackson and Rebecca; his brother, Michael Walsh, and his sisters, Peggy Campbell, Mary Lou Calmaro, Joan Gains Patsy Schuelkens and Beth Ann Walsh.
He was preceded in death by his brother John Walsh.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Thursday, April 10th at 10AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA. 19446 where the family will receive friends Thursday from 9 to 10AM. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery. For those desiring, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Joseph’s memory to the Parkinson Disease Assn., 330 S. 9th Street, Phila, PA. 19107 would be preferred.
