Sophia Ruduski—2/16/14

Sophia Ruduski, age 92, of Hatfield died February 16th at Golden Living Nursing Home in Lansdale where she had been a resident for 7 years.
Born April 14, 1921 in Alden, Luzerne County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Stephania Olszewski Szychowski.

Mrs. Ruduski had worked in assembly at the Philco Ford Plant, formerly on Church Road in Lansdale. 

She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lansdale.
Her beloved husband, Stephen J. Ruduski, died on December 26, 1972.
Survivors include her sons Stephen P. Ruduski and his wife Lucille of Georgetown, TX. and Eugene Ruduski of Quakertown; grandchildren Stephen Ruduski and Jacqueline Cianfrani and her sister Adele Majewski of Mountain Top and her brother Chester Shehoski of Reading.

Mrs Ruduski was preceded in death by her sisters Bridget Rudowski, Mary Paluck, Anne Kellar and Frances Wroblewski and her brothers John, Anthony, Alex, Stanley and Frank.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, Feb. 22nd from 12:30 to 1:15PM at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main St., Lansdale and to attend her Funeral Mass at 1:30PM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Avenue in Lansdale. Interment St. Stanislaus Cemetery.

    Your warm heart and infectious laugh will always stay with me. You opened up your heart and home to me from the time I was little and then when I was older – this and those good times I will never forget. As always, you will be in my warmest thoughts and prayers.

    You did good Ciocia – “The old grey mare IS and ALWAYS was what she used to be” –

    As a Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother or whatever the role, you were always “Top Shelf”!
