Francis J. Frizzle, age 78, of North Wales died November 27, 2013
at St. Mary Manor, Lansdale.

Born in the Germantown section of Philadelphia, he was the son of the late John and Helen Walters Frizzle. He has lived in the North Penn since 1965.

He was a store supervisor with Acme Super Markets for many years at various store locations.

He was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lansdale.

Mr. Frizzle enjoyed gardening and had a green thumb, electric trains, Christmas decorating and Wildwood, NJ. People who knew him described him as a good friend, a terrific neighbor and family man. His children and grandchildren described him as a special Pop Pop and wonderful  husband and Dad.

Surviving is his beloved wife Theresa J. Malady Frizzle, his daughter Dianne P. Foore and her husband Keith of Lansdale; his sons Joseph M. Frizzle of Delaware and Donald C. Frizzle at home; grandchildren Christine and Katharina Sonja Frizzle and Madelyn, Benjamin and Daniel Foore; great grandchild Gavyn Foore and brothers Charles, William and Thomas Frizzle and sisters Helen Polcino and Margaret Stewart. He was preceded in death by brothers John and Robert Frizzle and sisters Mary Shreffler and baby Helen.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Thursday, December 5th at 11AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA. 19446 where the family will receive friends Thursday from 8:30 to 10:45AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. For those desiring, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Frank’s name to St. Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave., Flourtown, PA. 19031-1898 would be preferred. Arrangements by Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, Lansdale.
