Patricia D. Boyer, age 61, of Towamencin Township died October 31, 2013 at Grandview Hospital. She had been in failing health.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Lamont and Elizabeth Mowrey.
She has lived in the North Penn area for 24 years and was formerly from Northeast Philadelphia.

She graduated from George Washington High School in Philadelphia, class of 1969.
Mrs. Boyer worked at Shriners Hospital for Children for 36 years as Assistant Director of Medical Records.

She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Upper Gwynedd.

She loved to read and  travel, especially trips to Disney World and cruises. Her greatest joy spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving is her beloved husband of 14 years, Curtis E. Boyer and her children Richard Jones of Philadelphia, Kathryn Cleaver of Lansdale and Matthew Jones and his wife Jennifer of Lansdale, five grandchildren Hollie, Kaitlyn, Emelia, Barry and Ethan. She is also survived by two sisters Joyce Cooper of Downingtown and Cheryl Muro of Warrington and her brother Steven Mowrey of Carlisle.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Tuesday evening from 6 to 9PM at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main Street, Lansdale. The family will also receive friends Wednesday morning from 9 to 9:45AM  at Corpus Christi Church, 920 Sumneytown Pike at Supplee Road, Lansdale, PA. 19446 (in Upper Gwynedd Twp) followed by her Funeral Mass at 10AM. Interment private at a later date in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Reading.

For those desiring, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Pat’s name to the Arthritis Foundation, 111 S. Independence Mall, Phila., PA. 19106 would be preferred.
