Kevin R. Weidner–9/16/13

Kevin R. Weidner, age 54, of North Wales died Monday, September 16, 2013 at his home.  He had been in failing health.  Born in Lansdale he was the son of Robert L. Weidner of Limerick and Rosemarie Roberto Weidner of Lansdale. He attended Penn State University and was a graduate of Temple University.  He later earned his MBA from Monterey Institute of International Studies and became fluent in Japanese and Mandarin Chinese. Mr. Weidner worked as Supervisor of Licensing and Investigations with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.  He was a member of St. Stanislaus Church in Lansdale. In addition to his parents he is survived by his sister Joy Weidner of Lansdale, his step-mother Lillian Weidner of Limerick, a step-brother Jonathan Myers and his wife Heather of Pottstown, and 2 step-sisters; Melissa Gelwick and her husband Arthur of Pottstown and Lisa Myers and her husband Geoff of Houston, TX.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday, September 21 from 9:30 to 11 AM at the Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 E. Main St., Lansdale, PA. 19446, followed by his Funeral Service at 11 AM.  Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery, Chalfont.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions to The American Lung Association of the Mid-Atlantic, 3001 Old Gettysburg Rd.,  Camp Hill, PA. 17011 (please include Kevin’s name with correspondence) or online at www.lung.org.
