Josephine M. Russo, age 96, of Lansdale died March 14, 2012, at Abington Health Lansdale Hospital.

Born in Richwood, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Anna Mole Mancuso.

She has been a lifelong resident of Lansdale.

She had worked at the Raincoat Factory and Pretzel Factory and the Pocketbook factory all formerly in Lansdale and Old York Country Club as a waitress.

Her husband, Harry J. Russo, died in February, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her son John H. Russo and her daughter Charlotte Piazza and her granddaughter Jessica. Surviving are her grandchildren Stephanie and Samantha and Mary “Bunny”, Joanne, Nina and Anthony and her sister Rose Kolman of Hatfield and many nieces and nephews and her daughter in law Lorette Russo. She was preceded in death by brothers Samuel, James, Joseph and Frank Mancuso and sisters Angelina Hostelly and Mary Lengyl.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Monday, March 19 10AM at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave., Lansdale, PA. 19446 where the family will receive friends from 9 to10AM. Interment St. John Neumann Cemetery.

For those desiring, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Josephine’s name to St. Stanislaus Church (address above) would be preferred.
