He is survived by Adelina, his loving wife of 69 years. Surviving is his daughter, Louisa Colella and her husband, Salvatore of Hatfield, his daughter, Maria Theresa Roberto and her husband Giovanni of Philadelphia, his daughter, Angela Roberto and her husband Felice of Geneva, Switzerland, his daughter, Carmela Roberto and her husband Graziano of Livorno, Italy. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Antonio Vincenzo was born in Castelfranci, Italy on April 7, 1921 to the late Giovanni Roberto and the late Angelina Boccella. In his early years in Italy, he learned the craft of making wine, which would become his life’s passion. In search of a better future for his family, he immigrated from his birth country to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on January 5, 1968, where he became a lifelong tradesman.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing Friday evening, December 30, 2011 from 7pm-9pm at Simcox-McIlvaine Funeral Home, 532 East Main Street, Lansdale, PA. and again Saturday morning December 31st from 9 to 10:45 AM also at the Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 11am at St. Stanislaus Church, 51 Lansdale Ave, Lansdale, PA.
Interment will be at St. John Neumann Cemetery following Funeral Mass.
